AHM have converted a newly delivered Tecnam P2006T to
enable them run the first airborne operated, water penetrating laser system
specially developed for hydromapping (shallow water bathymetric) purposes.
Equipped with a range of sensors including a bathymetric/topographic
scanner, aerial, spectral and IR cameras, AHM adapted the Tecnam P2006T so that
all sensors are operated from within the aircraft and deployed through 3
specially created openings powered by additional generators for 1.8kW.
O.K. in layman’s terms AHM chose the Tecnam P2006T Twin as
the platform of choice to fulfill a wide range of state of the art aerial
surveying missions and research work. AHM is looking for franchise partners
interested in exploiting its new hydromapping and aircraft technology.
